Our founder promoted and hosted events for over 15 years before building WURWUR. He designed the platform around one frustration: event tools are slow, bloated, and collect way more data than they need to. WURWUR strips all of that away — fast event creation, instant registration, and the fastest guest entry imaginable.
No passwords. No data harvesting. Just events.
Log in with your email. You'll receive a magic link — click it, and you're in. We never use passwords.
Enter the basics your guests need: event name, date, start and end time, map location, and up to 2 links to your website or social media. That's it.
Free events are free to host — no platform fees, no catches. For paid events, WURWUR collects a 5% service fee. That's it. A $20 ticket means we collect $1. We believe that's fair. Connect your Stripe account and the rest is deposited directly into your bank account 48 hours after the event. The short waiting period is standard fraud prevention.
Once your event is built, you'll receive a shareable link and event page QR Code. Promote it however you want — text it, post it, print it.
Inside your dashboard, click on any event to access your event page. From there you can edit the event, start the QR scanner, print your guest list, or download a CSV of your attendees.

After registering, you'll receive a QR code ticket. Screenshot it or download it — you'll need it for entry.
Guests may register with their real name or an alias. We believe your ticket is your confirmation, not your personal identity. Many people wish to attend certain types of events privately, and we think that's their right.
Every QR code can only be scanned once.
Event management beyond the door — checking IDs, providing security, handling liability — is the responsibility of the organizer. WURWUR provides one thing: the ability for your guests to register in seconds and enter with a verified ticket.

We don't save data, collect data, or track anyone — because we never touch that information in the first place. WURWUR is designed away from the surveillance economy. Your guests' presence is enough. Their personal details are none of our business.
WURWUR is currently focused on the smaller event market — comedy shows, private parties, music events, and grandma's birthday party. It's our hope that WURWUR removes the complexity of your next event so you can focus on what matters: the event itself.
